Air Water Flow in Serpentine Mini Channel

The two phase flow dynamics in three serpentine channels with different hydraulic diameters (DH) Рvarying from micro scale (DH < 1mm) to mini scale (2mm > DH > 1mm). The novelty of this work is its gas flow channel design and comparison of hydrodynamics in mini and micro serpentine channels. The flow pattern observed in the photograph is Ring Flow, Slug Flow and Distorted Slug Flow. Based on these experimental observations, suitable transition criteria are proposed in terms of phase Weber numbers
